Everything you draw exists only on your device, for as long as the app is open. inku has no server, no account system, and no way to upload, store, or see anything you've drawn. Your ink colour, sound choice, and settings (Pressure Response, Linger/Flow) are saved locally on your device using standard iOS app storage, so your preferences are there next time you open the app — they are never sent anywhere.
inku's sound is generated on your device in real time from how you touch the screen. It is not recorded, and inku never accesses your microphone or camera.
inku includes a single one-time purchase that unlocks the rest of its ink palettes, sounds, and ink settings. It's handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system — inku never sees your payment details, and Apple tells inku only whether the purchase succeeded.
